I offer an efficient service to busy businesses — I come to you. My portable studio equipment means I can photograph in any avaible space you have (a conference room is perfect). You won't have to print out directions to a distant studio, and your executives won't have to waste their time and money in traveling to it. They'll only have to walk down the hall. You get all the benefits of studio photography, with none of the hassle.
London is the city of umbrellas, and I won't be without one on the day of the shoot, rain or shine. Mine is a white silk umbrella, and it is the part of my studio lighting that produces particularly soft light — the kind that makes even overworked executives look good. I shoot on a digital SLR, and import the photographs into a laptop as I shoot, so that each sitter gets to approve his or her portrait before we finish. Should a portrait be perfect except for one too many wrinkles, the sitter can point it out and I'll take care of it (digital retouching is included).
The time a portrait takes is up to you. "Fast" and "good" are not mutually exclusive terms, and I have photographed as many as 10 people per hour. If your business has numerous employees whom you'd like photographed, I'd recommend we schedule no more than 5-6 people per hour (10 minutes per portrait). If their schedules permit, then 2-3 people per hour (20 minutes per portrait) would be ideal, since the sitter and I could then collaborate properly, taking time to sort through the imported photographs, discuss their pros and cons ("To smile or not to smile..."), and then to take a few more photographs based on the pros.
Within one week of the shoot, your business will receive by post the finished, retouched photographs on CD (as both high-resolution print-quality files and low-resolution internet-quality files). I can also supply archival prints.
For commissions within the M25, my half-day rate (up to 4 hours) is £300 inclusive, and my day-rate (up to 8 hours) is £600 inclusive. Please email gs@gormshackelford.com for bookings or corporate photography questions.
